This blows away the DR1000S in everything except weight (27oz vs 20oz), and perhaps note taking. Large screen EInk devices may be arriving in volume a year too late.

This would make a fantastic magazine delivery device.

B&N (actually eReader at present) have a beta stand-alone Android Reader, and the Nook runs Android. Amazon probably has an Android Reader in the works. I was arguing that vendors needed to get with the Android program based on momentum in the cell phone market, but I was looking in the wrong direction. Android is the clear early leader in the non-Windows tablet race.
