I'm considering this deal, too, especially since I have a Fictionwise Buywise membership and would get an additional 15% Micropay credit ($39) on top of the $104 credit in the offer, bringing the total to $117 for the eSlick reader and $143 in credit to spend on ebooks.

As a member of the Fictionwise Buywise Club, we want to offer you a very special bonus this week: lower thresholds on your "large transaction" rebates! Our Buywise Club members get the best deals at Fictionwise, and this bonus is just another great way to stock up and save.
Now through Sunday, December 20, we're lowering the large transaction rebate thresholds to:
* Orders over $50 and under $100 will receive a 10% Micropay rebate.
* Orders over $100 will receive a 15% Micropay rebate. This applies to any credit transaction by Buywise Club members. Your normal Buywise benefits also apply to your purchases.

And while this isn't mentioned in any recent emails, Buywise Club memberships for your own account and gift pack memberships via the Gift Certificates link qualify for 100%-115% Micropay rebates, too, depending on how much you spend thanks to that large transaction bonus above.
Does anyone know if Fictionwise Micropay credit can be used on physical goods like the eSlick? If so, their current 25% off gift certificates promotion could be used to purchase enough credit to cover the price of the eSlick for around $200.

Through December 20 you can give your favorite reading fanatic the gift of eBooks at a discount! All gift certificates and gift packs are 25% off when you purchase with your credit card or PayPal. Just in time for the holidays!
You can print a certificate to use as a stocking stuffer/card insert, or send an email with the gift code to a far-away friend. You can even have the Gift Certificate emailed to yourself, then you can email it to your friend when the time is right. And don't forget--every eBook at Fictionwise can be given as a gift (see the "Buy this eBook for a friend" button on the eBook description page). Gift certificates must be redeemed by a person other than the purchaser.
