Of course they should have put more effort into resolving this faster. But they haven't.
I am encouraged by their recent update that indicates they are still working on it.

The problem as I see it is that if you purchase a new Gen3, you get the latest firmware. But even if you have the exact same Gen3, you don't get a flashable firmware to update your Gen3. It seems that Bookeen isn't interested in you since they have your money.
