I already own 2 old GEB1150s, one REB1200, a Sony 505, and a Pocketbook 360. All the reading devices are retired except for the 360 and though I love it, I don't think I'll ever be truly happy with nighttime reading until I have another backlit device. My Iphone is just too tiny to read from for hours and hours.

Questions I have about the Jointech JE100~

1) What reading apps are installed or can be added?

2) Any need to use Calibre with the JE100 and does Calibre recognize it as a reading device?

3) Do you know of any really negatives to consider? (Battery life - not a huge issue since I can charge it whenever needed.

4) Is the JE100 overkill if all I really want it for is backlit reading? I just don't know of anything else with a screen larger than a PDA that isn't a netbook - I don't want a folding device. Too cumbersome.

5) Anyone have experience with Jointech support?

6) Any questions I didn't know to ask?
