Try not rebooting every now and then... You'll find that most apps and installers that "require" rebooting actually work just fine without rebooting. It's a stupid stone-age precaution that just won't die...
In fact, the more or less only thing in Vista and XP that actually DOES require rebooting on installation are hardware abstraction thingies and driver thingamajigs.
