What happened to your screen?
I have a 505 and a 300. The 300 goes in my pocket or briefcase, & holds whatever novel(s) I'm reading. It is well suited to that function, being almost as convenient as my iPhone, and easier to read.
The 505 stays at home, except when I travel, and holds whatever isn't a novel. I use Instapaper/Calibre to get stuff off of web pages to download to the 505. So it acts as kind of a newspaper or magazine reader.
But some issues arose between the new Library software & the 505. I had to hard reset the 505 to get Library to acknowledge it, whereupon the 505 started freezing & giving me a kind of fractured looking screen with reverse b/w. Plus the battery was utterly drained. And nothing on my computer would recognize it, claiming a fsk -43 error, whatever that is.
I wound up just sticking the 505 for a couple of hours, then doing another hard reset, & finally, things came back to normal.
