I took black because (1) it was all that was on-hand at my local Target. I thought about silver but was afraid it would reflect light and be distracting. Red has never been a favorite color of mine, no brainer there. I wouldn't have minded a dark blue or dark green option. The book cover I bought (the Sony one with the light) is black, that's all I see when it's closed up anyway.
