I LOVED the Swedish chef! I thought he was hilarious. Sure, he was a huge caricature but that was what was fun about his segments. Of course, our babysitter was from Sweden, so we knew how the accent really sounded and we also knew that Mormor made the best pepparkakor in the world!
Although, to be absolutely honest, I'd never had it before she made it.
