I have tried 4 different book lights, and the coverage has always drove me nuts! Color temperature too.

I now own a Princeton Tec headlamp, and it's awesome. Full coverage. And I look so cool wearing it! They use LEDs, with long (weeks) battery life, and the color temp is very good. I use the blues and they are close to the first pic in the thread. You can also use white, but it's VERY bright on my headlamp.

I like Princeton's products, and nothing beats their heat dissipation. I once had a different brand's LED flashlight that got so hot it would burn my hand. It was a total fire hazard! The Princeton stays completely cool, no heat problems at all.

Since the light goes on your head, it's easy to aim, stays in place (flashlights don't), and project perfectly onto your Reader.
