I thought Sherlock Holmes Vs. Jack The Ripper (AKA Ellery Queen Vs. Jack The Ripper: A Study In Terror) was pretty good. Ellery Queen (joint pseudonym of Daniel Nathan AKA Frederic Dannay and Manford Emanuel Lepofsky AKA Manfred Bennington Lee) wrote the Ellery Queen parts of the book, and Paul W. Fairman, in collaboration with Nathan/Dannay and Lepofsky/Lee, wrote Dr. Watson's narrative.
