I finished Great Tales From English History: The Truth About King Arthur, Lady Godiva, Richard the Lionheart, and More by Robert Lacey. I have always loved history and this book recounts important events, great attrocities and funny annecdotes from the early English history.

Anybody show is interrested in history, especially English history, should read this book. The writer manages to put a lot of things into perspective by showing simularities between then and "now". He also tries to tell the story from multiple sources.

I'm looking forward to the second book: Great Tales from English History: Joan of Arc, the Princes in the Tower, Bloody Mary, Oliver Cromwell, Sir Isaac Newton, and More
