Ewww, cucky! I'm so, so sorry that happened! I feel ur pain considering the mishap with my 505. If you go to Sony's website they let you put in your info and that lets you know if you qualify for the exchange; that's what I did when I dropped the lower half of my reader in the tub- I mean, when the cat knocked it into the tub . Mine doesn't qualify b/c of the water damage, but who knows? If you can get ur reader fixed for $30 I'd say go for it!
