I totally agree! I think the problem is that sony is Using Adobe software. The Reader is written in Adobe Flash. Flash was a horrible development environment under Macromedia, and Adobe has made it even worse and more bloated. Sony also uses Adobe Adept DRM, which means they use another bloated Adobe application that doesn't work well. Don't get me wrong, Adobe can do software right. I love Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 2, but the roots of those applications go back more than two decades. But they seem to have lost their way when it comes to documentation software.
