I haven't used an iphone, but have used Mobiopcket on a N95 8GB and it's very easy to install the software and pretty simple to shift ebooks onto the phone in data transfer mode. I read on mine every day, whenever I've got a couple of minutes or more in downtime (in a lift, on a bus). My choice was easy, because I found a cheap N95 on eBay (A$400 outright). Much cheaper than I could ever have found an iphone in Australia. And the N95 is also a good phone, reasonable size screen, good keypad.
