Just go to Sony with your receip, bang the reader on the table and say - it stops working! I did not do anything, it just stops.
you have the waranty - and they will do nothing! The customer is always right and in this bad crisis, no company likes to loose a customer.
just trie it - and if you have to lie --> just do so!
They are lying to us all the time.
