If there is only one review, I'll dismiss it. I also tend to skip the positive ones and read the negative ones. Sometimes they think of something being negative, while I find it a positive... Or the reviewer is just negative for being negative
(when I was looking for reviews for the camera I wanted to buy, one gave it a negative review, because his DSL made better pictures than the camera he was reviewing, which was a compact...)
