Perfect for an alien - but can't remember the name of the story

Ok: Need some help here ---

I remember a short story (or novelette) by Isaac Asimov, in which these aliens "kidnap" a man and a woman in order to study them. The two humans refuse to cooperate - to a certain degree - and the aliens decide to let the humans go before they abandon earth and the study of humans.

As they are leaving, one of the aliens says (in effect) to the commanding alien: Look what they're doing now!

At least, that's how I remember it.

Can someone identify this for me?

I think this would be a great gift to a group of aliens.
