I had a PRS-700, sold it to a friend and bought a PRS-600 and a Kindle DX. I think the Kindle is okay but I use the Sony far more often. The Kindle DX is big and clumsy... I feel akward taking it out in public but it is better for PDF books. The Sony is a better size and more discreet... if you can really call it that. I find that I spend more time telling people how much I love it than I do reading when I am trying to read in a public place!
