I keep hearing "the kindle is ugly". I don't find any new technology particularly attractive. PCs, Laptops, MP3s, ereaders. I guess I would prefer an old leather bound tome (which is probably why I have an Oberon cover), but I don't know that I have seen any ereaders that make my socks go up and down
