I've had my PRS 600 for just about a week now - an early Birthday and Christmas present. Like others before me, I much prefer Calibre over the Sony library - particularly the ability to adjust metadata and build collections based on tags.
I use mine for both academic and leisure reading, and currently have over 800 "books" (ranging from two page briefing papers to hundred odd page research papers). The note taking capability using either drawing or virtual keyboard appealed to me, the silence of bed-time reading appealed to Mrs.
Disappointed by the availability of ebooks in Waterstones; wowed by the contents of both Gutenberg and here
Regards, Tubs.
