Published Column
I do not have publications or newspapers in my library – it’s exclusively books – and struggle a wee bit with the ‘Published’-column/field. I would want to use that for the Published/Copyright Year and find having the month displayed aesthetically unpleasing. I appreciate it’s not the end of the world; I can just put everything to Jan or whatever. But, then again, it *does* bother me. It also adds time to the updating effort (I have some 1200+ books needing updating).
Could ‘Published’ possibly be split into two columns/fields or will that make it nightmarish for people who do manage publications in Calibre? Or is there perhaps a simple way to work around this that I just don’t get?
