This or the JE100?
Coldsun,
I was thinking of buying a Nook for my wife for Christmas, but after they sold out I started looking at other devices. She mostly just wants a good, versatile ereader. She reads in bed often, and I think that an LCD screen would be best due to the backlight. Right now she reads on her iphone, and loves the program Stanza. Of course, she would like a bigger screen (6 or 7 inches) to read on, but still wants something thin and light that would not be tedious to hold.
I want to get her a device that boots quickly, turns pages briskly, can download ebooks over wifi, and meets all of the above criteria. I also want to get her something that has an ereader program that resembles Stanza. Secondary functions would be a nice side benefit (video, music, etc.) but not what is most important.
So, with all that in mind, should I buy her a Wirelession 1060 or the JE 100? Which one would suit her purposes best? They are both around the same price, so that is not a concern. I like the look and profile of the JE100, and the cover looks like it would make it feel more like a book. However, if the Wirelession is better, I will order that. Does the JE100 now have built in wifi, or does it still need the dongle? One last question (sorry!), does the Wirelession have a cool cover like the JE100? If so, where can I get one? Thanks! I love your reviews, and I really appreciate your hard work.
