Agree with HarryT. Actually the Hanlin devices (aka BeBook, Astak, etc) not only support Chinese but also have native language support for many other languages. The native language support and user replaceable battery were the two main factors in my decision for getting a Hanlin V3 in addition to my kindle 2. Now that Hanlin device has ADE support, I also use it for reading library ebooks.

Sorry - I guess I just don't see the benefit of buying a device which doesn't support the language that you want to use, rather than one which does. It's not as if there's any shortage of devices which properly support Chinese - after all, pretty much all of them are actually made in either the People's Republic or China or the Republic of China!
