You know, many Texas libraries will give you a library card if you have a Texas drivers license. You don't have to live in the area.
I drove to Houston one weekend to get a card because they have one of the best Overdrive collections in the state. Over 2500 books in pdf/epub format.
Roadtrip....... well worth the drive!!
