I really am thinking that readers and screens are a very personal choice. Definitely try before you buy if you can. I lurked on the site for months debating about features and upcoming models. I picked up a 600 yesterday at a local Target, charged it, loaded it with some books and laid in bed and read for a hour comfortably. I'm even looking at it now in a room lit only by the dim daylight reflected off snow coming through the window and the screen is perfect.
