Its his 4th fight. He's down to one lung, and that one decided to become a liability. He's no longer a candidate for surgery, so we tried something they call "radio surgery" 5000 rads of radiation, evenly spread out over 5 treatments.
Its been just over one month now since his last treatment, and he's back to normal. The worst side effect was fatigue....just could not concentrate on anything, and slept a LOT.

We have to wait until the end of January for another pt/ct scan to see just how well the treatments burned out the tumor. The docs gave it a 90% chance at the beginning, so we've our fingers crossed.
I marvel at this man I married. I doubt I would have the courage to fight as hard as he has......so if you have loved ones, or have to fight this battle your self, take heart
