So I dragged my sorry ass to the Metreon Sony store and told them of the issue and they opened two to find they were also way off. Determination won out. The 13th opened red leather cover was okay. And by okay I mean it's about one degree off. Proof that I'm not obsessive compulsive is that I bought it am reasonably happy with it.

I hope they send them all back to Sony and tell them about the problem. Sony should know about this, why aren't they doing anything about it? Unless of course the stores are just putting them back on the shelves for someone else and their thinking maybe it won't bother them any!
