Dad is doing pretty well, thanks. Finding everything frustrating, though, because he's all sore and weak. Having open heart surgery is kinda like spraining every muscle in your torso. Ridiculously painful recovery.

I'm mostly just exhausted. I needed a rest. On the bright side, I have 3 weeks holidays in a couple of weeks - last week was meant to be a pre-xmas relax. Meh. And you know the funny bit? Our whole family was going to visit just after xmas anyhow. Not like he needed to stage a medical emergency just to see me!!!

hope all continues to heal nicely - now don't forget some you-time too ....
