In a passage from
2061: Odyssey Three by Arthur C. Clarke, creatures from Europa's oceans were threatening the astronauts. One of the creatures ate one of the astronauts, and a few minutes later, the creature regurgitated and died (totally different DNA). The other creatures then left the astronauts alone.
2061 would be a good book to share with aliens. It contains a timeless message: eat me and
you'll be sorry!
