I have been a fan of the Ebook concept for a while now.
My first distinct memory was about 8 years ago. I had a Palm for Business and was learning how to install solar panels.One of the instructors was explaining that the electrical code was difficult to memorize. I asked the question 'Why can't you just download the building codes into a palm or other device so that you can reference it when ever you need it?' The question stumped him.
Now, I find myself looking at the idea of an electronic book fascinating. I read mostly when I am camping so the book needs to be a little tough. I perfer non-fiction and classics while my wife prefers fiction. It would be nice to add notes and use PDFs however that is not a dealbreaker. I am just trying to figure out what will be the best device for our family.
