If the Kindle supported tags/categories, then all Kindle books should also at least be tagged correctly. Or even better, users should be able to add and edit their own categories. Perhaps Kindle for PC is a step in this direction. I can understand if it's not just snapping the fingers to implement it.
Personally I would like tags. I can live with a flat list, but it would be nice to have at least folder support, or better, tagging.
