Personally, I disagree with this statement and don't understand the assumption that everyones eyesight is the same.
If you had eyesight like mine, then an ebook is far easier to read and curl up with. Not counting the large print books that I can get from my library, I find it nearly impossible to find a paper book where I can read the text comfortably.
