Thanks for the correction. I always thought that a gill was equal to 2 oz. My main point was to eliminate the confusion between weight and fluid measure. For me, it has always been a bit confusion to use ounces for both weight and fluid measure. Even more confusing is that there are two different types of ounces for weight.
