Mr Kaufmann, why do you feel the need to sound like Hitler? If your are serious, here is the bad news for you: "The Kristallnacht of Ebook reader smashing" you are dreaming about won't happen, I have to disappoint you. And electronic books and the internet will help bring more people away from senseless TV shows than paper books. However, your rants are getting so ridiculous that I almost suspect that you are actually Jerry Seinfeld pulling our collective legs here.

And yes, the majority of us do pay for our books, even when we buy them as ebooks, because we respect the rights of authors and others that help to bring them to us. That was the one point in your article that did make any sense.
