Thanks, Diablo - that confirms exactly what I suspected, which is that the operating system runs pretty much the same way whether the Reader is on or off - turning it off does little more than blank the screen and disable a few buttons. ie, the CPU does
not go into low power "standby" mode.
"nil point" would you say, for Sony?
