Could It Be Magic (co-written with Adrienne Anderson). Granted, toward the end of that song, he goes into hip overdrive wink-at-the-audience mode, and granted, he further corrupted the song in later years with a disco spin, perhaps influenced by the Donna Summer version... Okay, so I'm really not overly fond of any of his performances of it, but I still contend that it's a great song. I just think other people could do a better job with it. I think

I guess he goes from Corrosion of Conformity to Manilow the same way my iPod goes from Cream to 50 Cent to Edgard Varèse. Obviously, neither of us are quite right in the ol' noggin.
