i don't watch sports live or on the telly (in fact, when the world cup happened in paris, they installed giant screens outdoors in several areas around the city so that anyone could watch ; we happened to be passing by one during the evening of the final and stopped a few minutes to watch, and i missed seeing the first goal (by the french) because i was watching the crowd instead of the screen) but i have to say that the crowds you see in bars on the night of a match can be pretty impressive. and it's hilarious when they all start singing.
