And that's a good thing. I know some topics deserve a "serious" discussion, but I'm a firm believer that you really can do both and it makes it more enjoyable for everyone.
I also know that topics drift a lot faster than continents and the best you can do as the originator is it try to keep on topic with gentle proddings as you have done Ea.
