You know, that is something you can generally actually derive from avatars.
I doubt a very serious person would pick a silly avatar, while somebody who can't really stay serious for very long would pick a very serious avatar.
Take Steve, for example. If I were to look at his avatar, I'd say he's a serious person. I don't see hem often in the silly threads either.
But if we take DGM, I can't even put her avatar and serious in one sentence, and I think she's a very laid back granny. She also posts very often in the silly threads (even started a few of them!)
