As Slite and Bois Aussi entered the hotel building where the tournament was going to take place, they noticed a man walking along the sidewalk, counting the cracks.

"That must be Huhges," said Slite.

"Known OCD?" asked Bois Aussi.

"That, plus he has two socks sticking out of one of his pockets and my script says that he has to pull them out at the right moment and threaten the Nazi with them."

"Ah. Nicely observant. So, what's next? We have our seat at the table, do we just hang around and wait?"

"Well, you're the one with opposable thumbs, soI guess you should practice your palming techniques."

"Are you implying that I have to cheat in order to win at poker?"

"Have you looked at the guest list? You'd probably be the only one not cheating. You gotta be good, though, because I heard that they brought in the Squid to be the dealer. They have eyes that are sharper than humans, you know."

"It is offensive that I, a French Royal should stoop so low as to cheat at cards!"

"Louis XVI won all those times by being good at it?"

"You have a point. Let me get my deck and practice."
