I’m reading An Iliad by Alessandro Baricco. It’s a quite interesting book, a prose retelling of the Iliad by Homer. Baricco eliminated the appearance of all gods in his story though. And he tells it from the first-person viewpoint of different characters such as Odysseus, Nestor, Achilles or Helen. I’ve only read the first couple of pages but my first impression is quite good.

BTW, attched you find the second letter for MobileRead's winter contest. * Voici la 2ème lettre pour notre Jeu d'Hiver. * Anbei findet Ihr den 2. Buchstaben für unser Wintergewinnspiel. Good luck, bonne chance, viel Glück!
