Your OS is a perfect OS, no need to upgrade. It only has one downside: it loses its OS when your battery is dead (it will revert to a clean install and you'll have to reinstall everything again: backups re nice!).

I have had my Loox for several years now, never even noticed one virus. But then again, I hardly ever use it for internet. The browser is fairly simple. I go to this site once in a while (especially on cold sunday mornings when I want to read the forum but don't want to leave the bed ) but mostly I use my wifi to go to my own server and get a book from there...
