I was an early fan of Stanza, and still love their iPhone app-easily the most used app on my iPhone, despite its ePub limitations (which I hope they'll address )

But their Desktop Stanza app is not even in the same league as Calibre-just in terms of conversions alone. Even the devs at Lexcycle recommend using Calibre for anything more than simple conversions. Whether you buy into how Calibre organizes your files, handles metadata, etc (what a lot of the discussions tend to be about)... or not, you really should try it's conversions, especially coming from how Stanza handles the task-you should see a vast improvement .

(for the record, I do buy into not just the conversions, but the library organization, and the metadata handling I love it.)
