You're helping me lean towards the Archos now.
It always a source of amazement to me that manufacturers don't really seem to be paying much attention to what users want. The kit available hasn't really moved that far beyond the 5 year old Dell Axim x50v I mentioned above, despite the huge advances in hardware possibilities
