That's interesting, Florence.

Like Superlucky, I tend to have one or two non-fics on the go as well as reading two or three novels simultaneously. I can read for longer that way, I find. Don't get droopy or tired.

And, like you, I'm reading much more just for fun, and much more widely after work (which is a different kinda reading -- I'm a fiction editor).

I guess -- certainly for me -- it comes down to 'convenience reading'. I write, edit and read for a living. When I take a break or go to bed, the last thing I need is a stack of books in paperback, hardback and paper to shuffle through. But maybe it's what I want.

Really enjoying myself flipping between reads (with the push off a wee button) as I never did before.

Ereaders WILL change our reading habits -- not only how we read but what we read (as you say, taking a chance at genres we'd normally snub). That can only be a good thing, eh?

Gosh, do I love my reader! Wish I'd had it half a century ago when I learned what reading was really about.

Best wishes. Neil
