A few years back (as my daughter reminded me over Thanksgiving) we made it our goal to watch every version of A Christmas Carol that was on TV we must have watched 6-8 different ones and in addition I read the original for the same reason as you. It was very interesting to see the minor variations and to see how true to the original some of them were.

I love Dickens anyway.
