Ok, I have to disagree with this comment.
Have you actually held one? I mean, if you hold it in both hands or even in one hand, it's very easy access. I mean, I don't have really long thumbs or anything, but my thumb goes across the middle page turner easy...
Having said that though, I would have preferred page turns on the side as well....
