For some stupid reason that I cannot explain, I stopped at 44% into John Irving's novel - which I LOVE - to read three other novels, which were very quick reads.

Now I'm back to John Irving, and still loving it. Maybe I don't want it to end.

I typically read 3-4 novels simultaneously, anyway.

You may actually finish before me!

To everyone else: If you enjoy John Irving, I think you may be in for a surprise. Irving loves his characters and it shows in his writing. There's a tenderness in his writing. Highly recommended.
