According to the CNN Web site (http://scitech.blogs.cnn.com/2009/11...-the-holidays/), consumers are facing an eReader shortage this Christmas season.

They mention the demand for the Nook exceeding B&Ns expectations and Sony not being able to guarantee they can deliver their eBook readers in time for the holiday. They asked for comments from Amazon but got no response.
