As I see it, nnf, no matter when you decide to buy, there will be a better deal in six months.
The situation is much better now than when I started looking in August. If you can wait till after the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January, you will have a much better idea of what will become available in the next few months.
I believe that your patience will be rewarded as mine has been.
